About the Designer

Gopi Vaid, co-founder of the eponymous label, is a designer with a passion for Indian arts and crafts. Raised in a family with a rich heritage in textile making, Gopi developed an appreciation for the beauty of hand blocks and pigments from an early age. Her path crossed with fellow designer Arnaz Soonawalla during school, and they reunited after their weddings. Arnaz discovered Gopi's dream of launching her own label, leading to the formation of their creative partnership. Gopi Vaid's designs reflect her deep-rooted love for Indian arts and showcase a unique blend of tradition and contemporary aesthetics.
